Cricket Finland internationals Nicholas Salonen and Jordan O’Brien have made club switches in the Estonian league, both moving from Tartu Cricket Club to Saaremaa Kriketiklubi. This change comes as both players look to bring their skills and experience to their new team.
Nicholas Salonen, 30, a cricketer who played cricket in South Africa, arrived in Finland last summer and quickly made an impact, playing in 8 T20 Internationals for Finland since June 2024. His experience and steady performances have established him as a valuable player for the Finnish national side.
Jordan O’Brien, another key performer for Finland, has played 13 T20 Internationals since his debut in May 2023. Both Salonen and O’Brien have become integral parts of Finland’s national team, consistently delivering strong performances that keep them high on the team’s list of standout players.
Their moves to Saaremaa Kriketiklubi bring both experience and international exposure to the Estonian league as the two continue to develop and showcase their talent across Baltic cricket.
